Production Supervisor

You will be based out of our Aromas, CA production HQ. The Role:

Supervise production line operation crews and assigned lead person to support company policies and operating procedures. To be successful, this position must assure continuous improvement and consistently achieve operations effectiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership to support to company policies, operating methods and standards.
  • Supervise production operation machine centers to assure optimum customer service.
  • Establishes daily priorities to assure acceptable operating performance.
  • Train and coach operations employees to comply with operational standards and company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct timely and in time employee performance reviews.
  • Responsible for shift schedule to include: work station continuity employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
  • Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
  • Coordinate with Production Management for appropriate staffing levels.
  • Schedule and conduct shift crew meetings.
  • Responsible to meet shift production goals and implemented LEAN Based activities to improve production efficiencies.
  • Responsible for product line quality assurance and conform to market requirements. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
  • Communicate with other Operations Employees and Operations Coordinator.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work area.
  • Complete Production Paper work.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Conduct quality control checks and document results


  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. This is normally acquired through two to five years of manufacturing experience.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required.


Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.

Education and/or Experience                                          

Bachelors degree required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Lean certification (green belt or higher) preferred.
