We are looking for an organized and motivated individual to join our marketing team as Acquisition and Retention Specialist. This role will have full ownership of the Fireclay Tile email list and be responsible for developing conversion and nurturing strategies for all channels. In addition to email any retention based campaigns such as direct mail, will be owned and executed by the Email and Retention Marketing Specialist. We are seeking someone who is driven and self-motivated with an appreciation for design and proven track record of execution.

You will be based out of our Aromas, CA factory and report to our Creative Director. In This Role You Will:

  • Own our email list which will include customer segmentation, list cleaning and list growth
  • Develop and implement an email strategy including nurturing for each customer segment and mass emails
  • Develop and build lifecycle plans by customer segments (e.g. first time, repeat, re-activation).
  • Run conversion focused email testing
  • Produce and build email sends in partnership with our Senior Graphic Designer
  • Establish acquisition and retention cross channel contact strategies (e.g., catalog, postcard, brochure, emails, digital marketing campaigns).  Continue to evaluate and optimize acquisition sources.
  • Future list buys for email and direct mail
  • Routinely monitor and test online points of conversion
  • Monitor and provide direction for maintaining and improving SEO
  • Manage online advertising through re-targeting and social channels
  • Mange retention campaign budgets and vendor negotiations
  • Produce performance data, analytics and strategic direction for email, customer retention activities, web conversions, SEO & SEM

  • Take feedback well
  • Have experience in the home and/or commercial interiors industry
  • Have an appreciation for design
  • Have a strong understanding of email providers, nurturing, and web tools
  • Have experience managing campaign budgets and negotiating with vendors
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Pardot and Asana a plus
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
