We are looking for an outgoing and motivated people person to join our marketing team as Community Growth Specialist. In this role you will develop and execute a strategy for growth and engagement in all social channels. You will be expected to manage a content calendar as well as the development of a targeted community relationship strategy. You will be responsible for hunting and seeking out new markets or areas for growth in social and community based channels such as Houzz, Google, and Pinterest to drive brand awareness and convert leads. You will consistently engage with the Fireclay community and help to develop and nurture our trade following. You will serve as wingman to our sales team in building lasting relationships with our repeat clients through engagement and appreciation activities. You MUST be a people person.

You will be based out of our Aromas, CA factory and report to our Brand Marketing Manager. In This Role You Will:

  • Mange all FCT social media accounts including creating and posting new content, responding to follower comments and questions, and elevating opportunities for partnership, collaborations or sales.
  • Create, post and test relevant content and conversion strategies in all social channels
  • Develop and execute a conversion focused growth strategy in all social channels
  • Provide customer insight and feedback to marketing and update FCT team weekly with key community highlights 
  • Work with sales leadership to develop a strategy for handing off qualified leads to sales team members
  • Manage and report on performance of advertising on relevant social platforms in partnership with our Brand Marketing Manager & Creative Director
  • Set follower and conversion rate growth goals and projections in each social channel
  • Routinely report on performance of each channel and growth-related initiatives
  • Proactively engage the community through forums and active online conversations around the brand and product. This includes monitoring any online activity outside of traditional social channels.
  • Nurture our residential trade community by initiating various “thank you” activities
  • Assist in event planning and operations for both local and national commercial market needs

You will be a great fit if you:

Have 2+ years’ experience developing a community around a brand

  • Have a proven track record of brand growth in social and online channels
  • Are highly organized and detail oriented
  • Consider yourself to be an outgoing, high energy, people person
  • Are self - motivated and work well with minimal supervision
  • Have the ability to report on and organize channel growth performance data
  • Are familiar with and comfortable reporting performance data and providing strategic direction
  • Have a proven track record of deadline driven execution
  • Work well in a collaborative team environment and can take feedback
  • Enjoy testing, trying, and learning
  • Have experience in the home and/or commercial interiors industry
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, and Asana a plus
  • Experience with social media publishing tools
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
